11.30am – 7.45pm March 4th at Houghwood Golf Club – a Yoga-thon!
You don’t need to have done yoga before, just come at any time that is good, stay for as long as you want/can. Take from the sessions what you need, enjoy, and please leave a donation for DIAS. This brilliant charity works to support victims of Domestic Violence and Abuse. so badly in need of funds, which have been heartily affected by the cuts.
1 in 4 people are affected at some time in their lives. Children are massively affected.

Feeling the cold?
Yes, we do want to eat more during cold weather – keeping warm takes more energy. To make good choices that keep you feeling full for longer, this is a time to choose the foods containing fats – but please choose the good fats! ie, good meats, nuts, avocado, peanut and nut butters (without added sugar of course!), semi-skimmed milks rather than skimmed. Pulses and legumes are also very satisfying and nourishing. Call for any more assistance.

Learn to become resilient to pressure and change to the “norm”
An important part of self growth which includes your responses to those you work and live with on a daily basis. Everyone is challenged, everyone faces Change. There are skills to learn and use to benefit your Wellbeing through tough times, but also in daily living. It is easy to continue in patterns and habits of learned unchallenged behaviour. It is an excellent way forward to solve problems and reduce stresses – that lead to moroe problems if left untackled.
Life Coaching addresses these situations. It’s also important to have the right nutrients in your system to back these stratergies.
Winter is an excellent time to address these issues and come through in much better shape. If you have Self Esteem you will confront these head on to achieve your best results.
Change Your Foods….
As the Season of Autumn/Winter moves along, the trees losing their leaves as a reminder that it is time for creating our energy in different ways – and to store for the darker days ahead. Changing your diet, your nutrients, is essential to allow our systems to cope and still be motivated and still act.
The days can actually be busier with the coming of Christmas. You are asking a great deal more of your immune system. Your defence mechanisms are really challenged. Are you forcing yourself to stay awake with caffeine etc..? If so, it’s time to find the time to look sensibly of what nutrients you are taking onboard.

The government’s push and survey is continuing across the country.
The latest figures tell us that the most unhappy section of the nation are women in the 35- 50 age bracket or thereabouts. And, that the most unhappy area is the North West!

Tip of the Week
Brain Food! Fats are great for the brain. But we are talking the right sort of fats. Essential fats fuel the brain and nerve cells.
Diets need to be rich in oily fish and nuts to provide this essential fat – saturated animal fats often affect mood, lowering you into depression. Explantion available on request!
A Happy Heart…….have you? and how do we get one?
A happy heart is a healthy heart.
Happiness and joy result from taotal accerptance of living in the present moment.
So, if you are not happy, or not happy enough – do you understand the concept of living in the present moment, or has your Life Situation prevented this type of thinking?
We are born to be happy, content, joyous. Sometimes Life knocks us sideways. Sometimes it sneaks up on us that we are actually, anxious, unhappy, feeling lonely in how we are thinking. Stuck in a rut, but badly wanting to CHANGE.
How do we do that?
To expand then, have fun in living, and grow knowingly as a content individual, enjoying our own thinking……we need always to be aware. If that awareness creates discomfort, it’s time for some new habits, techniques and skills maybe, and new perceptions. Life Coaching, Life Support, Removing Anxieties – call it what you will, frees you up to develop a happier existence.
