Sorry folks, Popeye was eating spinach for it’s beta carotene maybe, but not for it’s
iron content. Because. Spinach also contains high levels of oxalic acid which blocks
absorption of iron. Great for sufferers then of haemochromatosis that needs little iron
in the diet.

Having a PURPOSE and positive Relationships
in your life, is apparently massively supportive of a longer life than those who do not.
Many people wander through Life without one or the other – and generally a low sense of Life Purpose will result in negativity also in relationships.
A study undertaken by the NHS and the Psychological Sciences according to the International Therapists Magazine suggests that in a study taken over 14 years, that those who scored low points indicating not much sense of purpose, tended to die sooner than those of the opposite belief.

Our cars, our homes receive lots of attention to be their best, to be improved to function better, to serve us well for our comfort.
What about our bodies, our minds, our spirit? This message is heard but not always acted upon:

Comfort eating can be eradicated with the right foods! You may be short of dopamine and other biochemical imbalances
Have your diet exmanined and the right foods with a sorting out the source of the issues will result in freedom from comfort eating.

Well if the dreaded virus has taken you over here are some good tips to care for yourself and speed recovery:
Rest – very important, be a couch potato and let energy direct to killing infection
Drink – clear decaffeinated drinks and vegetable soups
Teas – make those ginger, lemon and honey to soothe a rough throat
Steam – sit near eucalyptus oil that is dropped into hot water to ease sinus congestion
Humidify – bedroom especially. There are small desk top machines or again, vaporise oil
